I'm Leslie Greathouse, wife, homeschooling mom of three, Bible teacher, writer, and founder of Merely a Mist Ministries. Nashville is home, though my heart has been stretched across more countries than I can count on two hands, and every single one rearranged something in me.

The call to ministry came at thirteen years old. It took nearly another decade to stop arguing with the One who placed it there. Since then, the path has wound through church staff, overseas missions, coffee shops, living rooms, and stages, and Jesus has been faithful through every single stretch of it. Not always easy. Faithful.

Scripture is the story of creation and life to the fullest, every word connected, every page bearing the fingerprint of the Creator. Jesus is the thread running through all of it, from Genesis to Revelation, and the Holy Spirit is the breath making it alive in us today. That is what this is all about.

The work looks like teaching and writing, loving a ridiculously good-looking, kingdom-seeking, wildly supportive husband who makes all of this possible, homeschooling three kids who are learning right alongside their mom, serving the local church, and hosting Bible studies and worship nights at coffee shops, the kind of places where people let their guard down and real conversation happens. Not unlike the way Jesus met people. Right where they were.

Merely a Mist was born out of a hunger to create spaces where people actually encounter God, not just hear about Him, and never look back. The studies, the events, the writing, the community, all of it exists for that one purpose.

Wherever you're starting from, He's been waiting. Don't settle for anything less than the full life He intended.
